Spaces to Gather

Below, you’ll find upcoming groups and circles offered through Amani Nia. Each gathering has its own focus, rhythm, and approach, but all are rooted in care, connection, reflection, and our shared humanity.

Taxed: Trauma, Money & Reclaiming Enough

A transformational therapeutic circle exploring how trauma shapes our relationship with money—and what becomes possible when we begin to relate to money differently.

Rooted in Indigenous circle-keeping practices, somatic healing, expressive arts, and group psychotherapy, we’ll explore inherited stories, survival patterns, and systemic forces that shape how we experience money, safety, worth, and scarcity. Together, we’ll cultivate greater awareness, agency, choice, and possibility as we begin to imagine—and reclaim—what enough can mean for us.

It's Complicated

A therapeutic circle for navigating love, harm, care, and complexity in family relationships.

A transformational therapeutic circle exploring what it means to care for family members who may also cause harm. Drawing from Indigenous circle-keeping practices, somatic healing, expressive arts, and group psychotherapy, we’ll explore love, responsibility, grief, caregiving, conflict, repair, interdependence, and the many ways we can remain connected without losing ourselves.

Radical Winter: Rest, Rhythm, & Humanity

A therapeutic circle exploring seasonal depression, changing capacity, and what it means to remain human in a world that asks us to keep going.

Drawing from research on sleep, rest, seasonal rhythms, stress, and human capacity, and rooted in somatic practices, Indigenous-informed circle-keeping, expressive reflection, and group psychotherapy, we’ll explore how winter can shape our mood, energy, relationships, and capacity. Together, we’ll examine the personal, cultural, and systemic forces that shape how we rest—or keep going—while making space for the very real demands of living and surviving in the world as it is.
